Epic Trails, Mezcal & Pacific Surf.
A point-to-point mountain bike journey from high-altitude volcanic loam at 3,100 m down to warm Pacific swells — four microclimates, sun-baked high-desert enduro in the Tehuacán Valley, wild-agave mezcal, and a surfboard waiting at sea level.
The Itinerary
Mexico City → Tehuacán → Oaxaca (Sierra Norte / Ixtepeji) → Puerto Escondido
Land a day early. Start the week properly.
Fly in one day prior to the first riding day. Private VIP airport pickup and transfer to the hotel. Tonight: welcome dinner, craft beer tasting and the full trip safety briefing.
Volcanic Loam & Mossy Roots
Our first day of riding hits the deep volcanic soil and ancient wet roots of Desierto de los Leones National Park — intense technical descents above 3,000 m. Traditional post-ride lunch, then a private transfer to the high-desert town of Tehuacán.
Murciélagos, then on to Oaxaca
Breakfast at the hotel, then a second day in the saddle at Murciélagos Bike Park in Ajalpan — sun-bleached singletrack through cactus forests and rocky canyons. Post-ride snack, then we pack the fleet and transfer to Oaxaca in time for dinner.
The Agave & Artisan Highlands
No riding, no transfer — just Zapotec culture, already settled into Oaxaca. A private tour of an authentic mezcal palenque with wild-agave tasting; a visit to a traditional Teotitlán del Valle telar workshop to see artisans hand-weave Oaxacan wool tapetes; and a stop at the Taller de Jacobo y María Ángeles in San Martín Tilcajete, Oaxaca's most celebrated alebrijes workshop.
The Holy Grail of Pine-Needle Flow
A full day on the world-famous trails of Ixtepeji — endless fields of dry pine-needle loam, massive hand-built flow lines and switchback after switchback, served by 100% community-supported shuttle trucks. Dinner tonight at Restaurante Tierra del Sol.
The Coast Highway
A second and final day of Sierra Norte riding at San Pablo Etla / Etla Guacamayas, hitting some of the fastest and most aggressive enduro and downhill lines of the trip. After riding we load the fleet and take the highway straight down to the Pacific.
Pacific Swells & Farewell Feast
Swap your full-suspension bike for a surfboard. Private morning surf clinic at a hand-picked break, then a free afternoon by the pool. The week closes with a farewell dinner at El Coste, Puerto Escondido.
End of Services
Private morning shuttles to Puerto Escondido Airport (PXM) for connecting flights home.
Check open dates and lock in your spot before the season fills up.
